Abhishek ("Ab") Ramaswami is an Associate Attorney at Cadogan Law, practicing in the areas of Labor and Employment Law and Business Litigation.

In addition to litigation, Ab advises and counsels businesses on matters of regulatory compliance with workplace laws, review of employment agreements, severance agreements, and restrictive covenants, risk management strategies, as well as the drafting of employee handbooks and employment contracts in a variety of industries. Coming from a healthcare background, Ab is particularly well-versed in healthcare employment matters.

Ab is skilled at helping clients navigate complex business and legal challenges by taking a keen interest in their long-term strategic objectives and understanding the client's business at a core and foundational level. Honing in on his psychology academic background, Ab prides himself on never forgetting the "human" element of law and is passionate about learning the client's side of the story and zealously advocating on their behalf.

Ab received his law degree from Emory University School of Law in 2020. In law school, Ab worked with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Fulton County District Attorney's Office. Prior to graduating law school, Ab received his Masters Degree from New York University (NYU) in Global Affairs and conducted field research in Cuba, India, Bangladesh, China, and Germany and worked with the United Nations Security Council. Ab obtained his undergraduate degree from Tiffin University, graduating summa cum laude and a member of the National Criminal Justice Honor Society.

Upon graduating from Emory University School of Law, Ab worked as an associate attorney in greater New York City and throughout South Florida He had the opportunity to work on a variety of matters in both the litigation and transactional realm, including construction law, health law, complex business litigation, employment law, intellectual property, real estate, and corporate transactions for individuals and businesses of all sizes.

Ab is licensed to practice law in Florida, New York, and New Jersey. He is a member of the Young Lawyers Division of the Florida Bar, the Florida Bar Labor and Employment Law and Health Law Sections, the American Bar Association, the South Asian Bar Association, and the State Bar Associations of both New York and New Jersey.
